Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

@SJT63 @TAB @saltandpepper @@Anastasia @NatureLover

Hi sorry there's been no updates or posts things have just been too much. I went offline for a bit. I'll probably be here a while. I hate it. I'm in a locked ward with a lot violent patients. PTSD is off the chart and I'm off the rails. I am scared. I dont want the other units to come out

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

Aw @The-red-centaur thanks so much for checking in, really good to hear from you. I'm so sorry you're stuck in such a shitty situation. Do you have someone to help step in on your behalf? Why are they leaving you in a situation that's causing you so much distress and aggravating your PTSD?

I wish I could help @The-red-centaur have been thinking of you and I'm so sorry you're in this mess

@Former-Member is there anything you guys can do on your end to provide additional help/support to @The-red-centaur

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

Sorry @The-red-centaur hope things get better soon

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

@saltandpepper I have to be on this ward due to the high risk to myself. At least I have been take off one to one special, but self harmed in morning and tried to suicide last night.
They have locked me out of my bedroom for 10hrs a day, I understand for my safety but I can't de-escalate when other patients start yelling and fighting with each other.

I haven't managed much lately but after dinner I'll post some more art.

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

@The-red-centaur I really wish I could say or do something to help you through this. It makes me incredibly sad to know you're still struggling so much and continuing to hurt yourself.

Have you told someone the other patients are setting off your PTSD?

Please tell me you have someone you can call on to step in here. Family? Friend? Doctor? Psychologist? Psychiatrist? Is there someone you can call on outside of the hospital?

Please, please stay safe my friend

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

@saltandpepper please don't stress about me.
There isn't really anything anyone can do.

Today I had a mental health advocate come to my dr's meeting today and were about to accomplish and clarify some things.
I have no friends, no family, no professional support. I have been in Perth only 2 months. I'm alone... hopeless in world I don't want to exist in.

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

@The-red-centaur So was that at all helpful having the advocate sit in??

There has to be someone you can call on @The-red-centaur even if you haven't talked to them in a long time. Even if you can contact one of your previous mental health supports and let them know the situation you're in?

@The-red-centaur I know that there's not a lot I can really do, but I care. I'm here. And I know I don't know you, but I'm sitting here and honestly there's tears rolling down my cheeks at the thought that you want to give up... That's probably weird.

@The-red-centaur if you had some money behind you, where would you want to go?

Re: Centaurs attempt at a new life

Hey @saltandpepper, thanks for letting us know you're concerned.
