I think you get to feel a bit rejected if you go too long without something sent from the universe smacking you in the face.  It just starts to feel like one of those strong massages after a while.  But then again I also used to use spare bits of fuse wire I found in the fuse box as a kid to like in the little holes in the fuses because I liked the jolt it sent up my arm.  Now I just keep poking my head up to see what is going at it... just to let the universe know it's not winning.  Well, it is, but I'm never going to let it know I think that!
