Hi @Zoe7@Shaz51@Faith-and-Hope@Queenie@CheerBear

everyone. In 2010 I got a lap band with private medical which I quit soon after because it was getting too expensive but I found out I could have gone through the  public system easily.

Its definately a growth thing. For the first two years I only lost about 10 k. I think I have lost over 20 now. I’m far too scared to weigh myself.

I’m size 14..... used to be 22-24.

My Gp was very resistant to me being referred to a doctor to get the plastic band tied around my tummy but she didn’t even want me to go on antidepressants and I researched and put myself on them. After about 6 months later I changed Gps.

its changed my life. It suits me. It doesn’t suit everyone
