Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

No worries @The-red-centaur I get that. Idk what it's like for you but for me, I've got lots to say but only when no one is listening, when they are it gets all jumbled and I can't think straight.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

It's been an interesting few days. I had some tests done which were scary and I slept a lot. It's weird to think today is friday. I have lost time. I think my DID is playing with me rn.

On a good not I did something.

the quote I did on the painting is: they cried, not because they were weak, but because they were strong.

I really been really struggling this evening so I retreated to the art room and did this.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

There are things I want to say but don't know how. My head feels messed up. Trauma is biting me and it hurts.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

Hi @The-red-centaur,

I'm sorry you are hurting from trauma.

It's understandable you don't know how to say the things you want to, that you feel like your head is messed up and that you are hurting.

What support do you have or have you had in processing or coping with the impact of trauma?

Perhaps others on the forum have examples of support to share too.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

@simplesymbol I just started seeing a new psychologist.  She's is great.

Edit: I also have the support of the hospital inpatient team at the moment

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

That's so great @The-red-centaur.  It takes courage to show up and be vulnerable and I'm inspired by yours.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.

Today was a weird day. I haven't slept for 3 nights and was hypomanic all day. I'm not hopeful I'll sleep tonight either.

Re: (not actually) Coping with things.
