I don't have a good routine @NatureLover . Since before Xmas I've been swinging between pushing myself on tasks and succumbing to mind-numbing screentime. So I haven't given myself time to read.
Gosh I'm tired. I'm glad it's the weekend. Do you work Monday?
By the way, I don't think I said I hope things went well with your friend and her family today. And you had time for your usual errands.

I see, thanks for explaining @Dimity .
I'm glad it's the weekend too. Yes, working Monday. We've both had a very busy week...hopefully we can rest a bit among our chores this weekend.
Thanks - it went very well with my friend and her family yesterday, and her husband didn't seem too disapproving of me. He mainly looked after the little kids while we caught up.
I hope your day goes well today with whatever you need and want to do.

Oh @Dimity good to hear from you.
I hope your surgery goes well and your convalescence.
I love books and language too. Yes I've felt the pressure to declutter but am slow and resistant to it. Lol I have brought some bags to the opshop.
I am also needing to do a lot of sorting of paperwork. Good reminder.
Great to see you too @NatureLover @Oaktree @Shaz51

@Dimity am overjoyed to see you! I was very worried about you and feared the worst.
Thank you so much for posting! Am interested to hear how your surgery went, and why you ended up in a private MH ward.
Are you still in any pain from thr surgery? How's your cat?
