Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hello @Bridgetjones

How are you? I havent met you before me thinks not. My life evolves around me  husband diagnosed at 19 Chronic Paranoid Schizophrenia) and writing short stories with my Psychotherapist and carer parttime in the community.

I havent been on for a little while because a darling friend of mine passed away and it knocked me for a 6 because...things happen that you don't think willh appen...you have this funny feeling about it behind your thinking brain......but then.....but getting there now. I had all of my hair chopped off. It looks pretty quirky if I must say so myself.......and then went to the funeral and came home and had a lovely cuppa tea. Life is always better with a cuppa tea isn't it

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@CherryBomb

I didn't actually walk out on the dysfunctional relationships, but I did make it very clear that I was ready, willing, and able to to my husband.   These people, one in particular and the others following that lead, were acting as though they loved me in front of him.  Very awkward .... and hard to prove in the beginning.  He said that if what I said was true, I would have to sort them out, because he couldn't deal with something he couldn't see, or accept was true ....

That was our deal, and from there I started playing by my own rules, which were to politely side-line them all.  They didn't like it, and progressively their true colours began to show up to my husband as they got angry.  Nobody, it seems, had ever stood up to them before ....

Bullies are bullies, no matter what their age and where you find them, and someone has to let them know that heir behaviour won't be tolerated.

Took a few years for the dust to settle.

My hubby's undiagnosed illness has taken us back into that territory at the moment - personality and values changed.   Having to work that one out now ....

@PeppiPatty lol dont take this the wrong way .. I hated tea for decades ... dirty dish water . I am a coffee drinker ... but dutifully did the herbal thing ... it took a while for me to get into the cuppa tee thing. Like herbal now .. but never "always" ... ????

 Yeah @Jacques it my boy's girl's birthday ... and they and her family are off to the coast.
