Wow, a tough situation, @outlander. I had a dental emergency not that long ago that took two months to treat. I'm with the government scheme though. Hoping the dental surgery team you have contacted will be in contact very soon. Are there any other dentists to try  in your area, or within driving reach?

Bitter Springs at Mataranka an hour south of Katherine which is also famous for Nitmiluk Gorges - a natural wonder.

 There are several massive gorges like this one.

its a 6 month wait for sugury but for extraction of one tooth between 2-3 months wait (unless i had it done on the spot but was to chicken) octobers not to far away i just have to be on stronger pain meds for a while and watch for infections in the meantime

Sorry to hear what you're going through dentally @outlander.  Hope you get the treatment you need sooner rather than later.

I've probably gone off on a tangent by myself here tonight having memories of the Territory.  Yes @Mazarita most of the time you can swim at the places I've shown, but in the top end it's always wise to contact rangers or tourism nt for any recent crocodile sightings.  Very rare in the places I've shown so far.

I have to keep myself in good condition - I have a date on Sunday (online contact), don't want to have to cancel due to illness...

She's Vegan, so it's a vegan restaurant that we're going to.
