Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I did see a post somewhere about your father in law @Shaz51. Having a loved one in hospital is stressful! How is he?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

welcome to the forum @Angels333, your dinner sounds yummy

Thank is a good question     ---        Are there any strategies or techniques you use to reduce your anxiety?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Welcome @Angels333 - homemade pizza is the best & I love olives!!! Good idea to contact your psychologist on Monday. I reached out to both my psychiatrist & psychologist this week, because of my anxiety.

@NikNik - Joe will be 6 this year (starting school soon!) & Patrick will be 4 this year. Kids usually easily love me - I was even a children's party entertainer for a while before my nervous breakdown at 21. These kids have taken a long time to warm up to me though!

Brussels sprouts is off the menu. My partner sautees them with vegetable stock, capsicum, red onion, chilli & garlic. We don't have any capsicum!

Are you around @Jacques?

Namaste,

Anna

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Of course I am @NikNik Woman LOL Nothing would keep me away.
I went up on Wednesday to help move the bulls across the road to an agistment property. Walked into the paddock, put one of the bulls on a halter (while he stayed lying down), then led him while the rest followed us. Absolutely perfect.
All the animals are completely crazy I say!! Hahahaha

My little Killi will have her second go on the halter Sunday. Fingers crossed she is a good girl.

Awesome @Crazy_Bug_Lady

I hope you can share more pics with us soon 🙂

Sorry to hear about that @Shaz51 - I hope you're taking care of yourself amongst all this.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Jacques,

I live on my 'morhers in law's' farm with her partner (he triggers ptsd - he was away from Xmas eve till today, which was wonderful) 'brother in law' also lives here - he is okay. Don't have much to talk about with 'sister in law' who was visiting.

Have been more than a little anxious... Last night I was in tears & running off into the darkness... I've been doing better today, but the anxiety is creeping back up on me now...

How are you?

Namaste,

Anna

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

OMG @Former-Member, i am so sorry, i did not know things where so bad. hugs 🙂

it is so hard the family dynamics, i try to avoid all my family for fear of getting caught up in the fmaily politics, i have had little contact with any family for 8 years, so i don't have that stress.

please be gentle with yourself, allow yourself to feel the emotions then let them go, you are lucky to be able to cry, i am unable to show any emotion, except anger.

i am ok, feeling sorry for myself lately but other than that ok.  i wish i could sleep of a night though 😞 i get such bad panic attacks when i go to bed.
