Yes!! @Faith-and-Hope
I am glad D3 has her art in an exhibition tonight - that's a good sign
Now I had cod and vegies for lunch - a delivered meal - I really like the cod - but I wish they would send something else on a Friday - I will ring them next week
Tomorrow - if I get to the supermarket I might get a cook-chook - I feel like some of that - I might even look like an old chook
Tonight I had a bowl of fruit and yoghurt and a couple of anzacs - that was enough
The Bailey's sounds find - I'll have one if that's okay - I have Australian Fortified Wine - if I feel so inclined
My medicare form for my psychologist said "ex smoker - occassional drinker" - that's a long time since social smoking and there is a long drought between drinks - that could have been left off the form I think

..it's possibly not all it's cracked up to be re physical contact @Jacques ..it can seem to lead to unnecessary emotional stuff .. If I go home at xmas, 'huggy' sister who otherwise has nothing to do with me is def not getting one ..ah tis the Season to be Jolly..

Affection has to come from within. Sometimes its ok to be awkward and sometimes it flows, Sometimes laying in the sun and just relaxing together can help. @Jacques I had a flare up with my son this week .. and he went to dutifully give me a full hug and I grabbed his hands and said I did not him to feel obliged to hug.
I also had a male friend want to hug me when I knew what I needed to calm my grief. It wasnt physical intimacy with someone who wasnt part of my grief story.
Yet early in my therapy, in my 20s I did like group hugs .. find your own way .. take little risks ... dipping toe in the water ... tho sometimes it can be fun to run around and play fight too. I used to fight my son with serviettes and place mats ... to make him laugh.
