Re: A long rave

Good morning, @ExoplanetSmiley Happy

I got an email notification with a message from you earlier this morning, but can't seem to find the post on the site now. I wonder if it has been moderated. Can't see why that would be, but possibly. In any case, I have read the post in the email.

I didn't get to the medical appointment yesterday, have rescheduled for about 10 days away. Instead I bussed it to my friend's place and helped her a bit with cleaning for her flat inspection that is today.

Great thoughts about the past, the present and the future.

Fencing continues to be challenging, I see. I have a feeling the face to face place might work the best. But I'm probably not psychic. Look forward to hearing how the next step goes. ox

Re: A long rave

Hi @Mazarita  I'm back if you're still around.  Hoping re-scheduling your visitor means you can get some more rest today.  I saw that you have your flat inspection coming up -doesn't seem like long since your last one.  I used to hate them.  Hate being scrutinised by authority figures.  Ironically my space is now on view to bro and sil all the time.  So I do the basics a little more often, or at least make it look like I have!

Had 2 coffees this morning in the hope it would give me the clarity to do some more info sorting re NDIS.  Pre-planning meeting next Monday.    But I really don't feel like doing it anyhow.

What I do have to do today is plan a few meals to share over the next 2 weeks and plan a shopping list for tomorrow with my SW.  Which includes a 3 day visit from Mum (also starting next Monday) and an overnight visit from my older half sister (who I've only met a few times) next Wednesday.  Doing my best not to get worked up over that.

Looking forward to catching up with you in real time eventually.

Re: A long rave

They are both brilliant @The-red-centaur. Do you have any more that you can show us?

Re: A long rave

I agree with @greenpea@The-red-centaur  You've got skills!

Re: A long rave

@greenpea I don't have many more on my phone and I left most of my work at the studio I used to volunteer at. IMAG0664.jpg

This is my first attempt at a waterfall I don't like it but eh IMAG0536.jpg

It's a crap photo of this one, there's more detail in the sky I missed.

This one is my attempt at a self portrait lol. It's shit. I went through a phase of doing dark paintings, the rest of that series breaches guidelines.

Re: A long rave

Looking forward to seeing the pics when they come through @The-red-centaur 🙂

Re: A long rave

@The-red-centaur Wow! I really like them particularly the one of you.  Sends shivers up and down my spine when I saw it.

Re: A long rave

Hi @eth, missed you again while I was video editing earlier today. Then had a sleep, much needed. It's actually the longest time we've had between flat inspections, about six months since the last one. Usually it's every three months. I hate being scrutinised by authority figures too. Grrrrr. Wow to your mum visiting the same day as your planning meeting. I can imagine how difficult that might be for you. Sounds good to be seeing your half-sister again, but I can see that it's a lot of possibly triggering family in one week. Just after a lot of socialising recently too. Sending best wishes for it going as smoothly as possible.

Hi @The-red-centaur, thanks for sharing your cool art! Hope today has been easier on you than last night.

Hi @greenpea, how's your day been?

Hi everyone, hope the approaching evening treats you well.

Re: A long rave

Hi @Mazarita thanks for understanding about potential triggers over the next week or so.  Last time half-sister was here she told me what she 'expected' of me by her next visit - it's echoed on me ever since.  I will be doing my best not to mention it.  It felt totally inappropriate given how little she's been in my life.  If she does it again I will tell her I am uncomfortable about her doing it - hopefully it won't be confrontational.

Glad to hear you got some more sleep.  How was the rest of your day?

I reckon if they're inspecting your flat less often they must be happy with you as tenants.
