Setting Boundaries
As carers we often hear and talk about the need to establish boundaries in our relationships. Boundaries can help keep relationships healthy. In fact, they are vital in relationships as they can help us feel empowered, respected and safe.
But how exactly do we maintain boundaries? How do we know what an appropriate boundary is? And more importantly, what can and what should we do when our boundaries have been crossed?
Join us Tuesday, November 22nd from 7 - 9 (AEDT) for some practical strategies and advice on setting boundaries. We'll be joined by Mental Illness Fellowship South Australia (MIFSA).

@Shaz51 what are the boundaries like in your relationship? Do you find that keeping boundaries are hard to keep? What do you do if they've been crossed?

Hi All, Thanks for joining in tonight.
Talking about boundaries in relation to our caring role, it is about taking on too much responsibility. There are physcial and emotional boundaries that need to be established in order for us carers to live a healthy and meaniful life.
