Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Mazarita LOL.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I'm just wondering how a food fight goes in zero gravity. In fact, eating may be tricky! When I was in primary school we had space food sticks (very strange), and tang (powdered orange drink). Both were rumoured to be consumed in space, but it could be an urban myth. Anyone else remember tang or space food sticks?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Yum @Faith-and-Hope is that what you had for tea tonight?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I remember space food sticks @frog. I used to get them in my lunch box for school.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@frog Yes I remember tang.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Space food sticks were so good! I saw them at the supermarket a while ago (years) but they didn't seem to taste the same as back then and I haven't bought or looked for them since.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I tried to find a good picture of the Saturn V rocket in flight, but for some reason it won't let me save it to post it here. I think my laptop has gremlins!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@frog, yes I remember space food sticks and tang too. I just read on Wikipedia that Nestle's chef Howard Bauman created the space food sticks. He also happened to lead a team that created food for NASA astronauts. John Glenn did have tang in space.
