Lemon, lime and bitters coming up for @Former-Member and @Jacques
Sometimes @Jacques we can feel down for no apparent reason, and that's ok. We can go in circles trying to figure out why, which can be exhausting. Perhaps do what your body needs right now?
@Phoenix_Rising **embarrassinly wiping mess off face** I will help you make a another cake for everyone **burp** I guess there are no beaches in outer Western Syd! Good for you on learning the violin. You know, I've always wanted to learn, but have been hesitant because I don't like the sound of dying cats! I totally laughed out loud when I read that your playing sounds like unwell cats.
@Shaz51 you are a (tropical) storm trooper. But remember it's ok to take some time out for yourself. It's only normal that you're feeling exhausted and numb after a horrific and traumatising week. It's so stressful thinking that you're going to loose a parent, particularly when you have lost another. I went through something similar. It was terrifying. Hope you get some well deserved rest this weekend. Do you have anything planned?
Anyone else want a cold drink?

@CherryBomb Now I am laughing at you trying to clean your cake-covered face with your cake-covered hands Nope, no beaches in Western Sydney. Even though house prices would be much cheaper over the mountains, I have come as far from the beach as I could cope with. Outside of peak hour, I know I can still get to the ocean in an hour. I super love the ocean - even if it can be terribly tumultuous at times
Are we only having cold drinks tonight or do you have the coffee machine nearby? I'd like a caramel latte if there's one on offer. Oh and can you do some really cool creative design in the froth? I always think that looks cool

Have just emailed you @BlueBay
@Jacques sometimes being strong can also involve being vulnerable.
@Shaz51 lemon, lime and bitters coming up! I'm so happy to hear that hubby has been helping out. It sounded like so much to manage, with your mum and hubby. What will you do to relax?
@Phoenix_Rising how's the cake prep going?

@TAWNEY wrote:@Phoenix_Rising, grill that ham and cheese, maybe with a bit of tomatoes, splash of pepper, yum.
@Former-Member That does sound super nice...but I did the simple version; place slices of ham and slices of cheese on bread roll, eat.
