Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

hi @Former-Member,

thank you so much for liking my quotes, i am trying so hard to post one every day, but it is sometimes difficult because of my mood and because of people i am helping offline.

i am still supporting 3 people, it is difficult but it helps me in some small way too, to know i am not alone.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Oops, sorry @Former-Member. I think I recall you had a son my daughter's age. Gotta love brain fog. Regardless, still a challenging time to nurture them through. My busy week was made all the busier for having to assist in coordinating all she needs for her school formal. I feel like a bridesmaid! Lol

Thanks for the encouragement @NikNik. Only had one glitch really on Tuesday when I fell into a hole but managed to climb out again. Hoping to maintain it. How are you going?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Yep on the formal front I think you have it tougher @Former-Member. My son went and chose everything on his own partly as he is so strong willed and independent and partly because I was so unwell. His girlfriends mum had all of the drama to contend with ( in a positive way) I hope your daughter enjoys it. 💜😊

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Eew. A "loud pop" @Jacques? That must added fuel to the anxiety, to say the least. Three weeks is a long wait - hope it's not too painful. Woman Sad I had a bit of a nasty dental thing the week before Xmas. A front tooth disintegrated! It was one that had had a rooot canal about 20 years ago and reached its use by date. Still getting it sorted and a couple more months to go yet. In the mean time I get to wear a denture in place of it. I feel old ahead of my time! Oh well, it is what it is. One foot (or tooth) at a time.

I really like the quotes @Jacques. It is something I look forward to here. I'm hoping there is not too much damage when the river peaks as well. Crossing fingers next week is better  💜😊

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Haha. Yes, @Former-Member. I was just saying to my girl today that the male partner has it so much easier! We finalised dress alteration today and the shoes became available in the correct size so they are on their way. Hair booked, makeup booked, spray tan and nails yet to book, earrings still to buy, "someone" is booking the limo, and clutch to be borrowed. Oh yes, and a buttonhole flower for the boy. Hope she realises this is instead of a wedding, not as well!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

yes, i know, it scared me, but it has happened before. i have had 2 teeth fixed already.

i am ok, i have a very high pain threashold. so pain is not a problem.

it is interesting you should speak about cumbling teeth, i have had 3 of my front teeth crumble and i was told by the dentist it is my meds.

i am glad you are getting your teeth looked after, they are so important.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

That's awesome @Former-Member - you've showed yourself how resilient you are!

I'm good! We have so much going on in the community at the moment - so it's all go, but exciting!
