Hi there @Former-Member! Yep, tea leaf tea, or just leaf tea, I reckon sounds about right. Go get that teapot and brew up! It's Tea Party O'Clock!

The tea ceremony is beautiful.
I dont do leaf tea ... only herbal tea ... and I often feel like a coffee pot.

Oh wow - that's such a lovely anecdote @Former-Member.
I've just done a search and uncovered this:
Wabi-sabi represents Japanese aesthetics and a Japanese world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".
How cool is that?? I feel like that's a kind of beauty I can relate to. ☺️
So glad you passed this through! You would have been a great teacher for that Japanese lady. No wonder she looked after you so well!
