Good Morning!

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@Ant7  wow where is that Ant7? You are in Tassie is that right?

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@greenpea  I am in NSW looking at doing the Six Foot Track. It is in the Blue Mountains and goes between Katoomba and the Jenolan Caves.

I am also looking at doing the Corker Trail in Barrington Tops in July

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@Ant7  Jeez the Blue Mountains one will test you up and down those mountains lol. I remember going there with daughter and we walked up and down the paths near Wentworth Falls and there were people running it!! So fit unbelievable. My ex takes son2 camping at Barrington Tops they love it in the winter as they can have a camp fire and there are heaps of kangaroos and other wildlife. Beautiful area s 🙂

Re: Good Mo@rning!

Yeah the one I am doing in Barrington Tops will be very cold and it could even snow 😊

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@Ant7  Omg you are so tough! 😄 will there but much snow? will you be going with any of your children are they fitness orientated like you?

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@greenpea  It might snow it snows most years up there so if conditions are right it’s on lol. No my kids are not very fitnesses orientation at all in fact they hate hiking lol so I am doing that one solo. My wife might come with me in the blue Mountains if she has enough time to train before then she is very busy with work so who knows

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@Ant7  None of my kids are fitness orientated either lol. Sounds a fantastic Ant7 :). A real challenge great for the body and the mind.  Did I ever tell you that I ran a half marathon? I trained every day and got super addicted to the adreniline rush it gave me. These days my super walk with neighbour and son2 gives me that same adreniline rush. Maybe I should think of taking up hiking .... the only thing I am worried about is getting lost lol I have no sense of direction once I am off in the bush.

I once got lost in a local reserve and ended up crashing through brambles and bush and got covered all over by leeches .... kind of put me off going by myself anyway. My ex could possibly be talked into doing it. He loves walking..

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@greenpea  I am not very good at navigating but I have a ok sense of direction I normally just stick to well marked tracks lol

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@Ant7  have you got an estimation of how long the trecks would take? I think it is all very exciting :). You will have to tell us all about it when you get back and take heaps of photos to share with the formites 🙂

Re: Good Mo@rning!

@greenpea  The one in Barrington is 10 km to the camp it’s very steep so I am guessing 3 hours. Then there are a couple of short tracks up there that I Will do if I have enough daylight and that’s about 10km to so another 3 hours . On the way down I am going to take a detour and check out a herratage hut but it’s only about 1 km off the track so it should only be about 3 hours on day two
