Hello Fellow Members
@Emelia8 @Appleblossom @Clawde @Itsjustme1 @greenpea @saltandpepper @Smiling_Gecko @Judi9877 @BPDSurvivor @Meggle @The-Hams @bipolarbunny @TAB
and everyone else
Thank you @Clawde for the sentiments that you have offered, very much appreciated. The roads I drive don't carry a lot of traffic – so easy driving. Yesterday, I did see a little shape, like a mini version of the old 60's “pregnant pasty” Volkswagen, on four tiny legs. It was an echidna which, thankfully, was almost to the other side of the road, as I approached. Only see them very occasionally. Thanks for the “good luck” on the fence. Kirra, my dog, will be happy to have freedom of the yard again, when it is completed.
Appreciate your comments @Appleblossom, regarding description of sun and rain. It was dark on the way back, so travel about 80, in case of animals crossing the roads, for their sake and mine. The trip over was lovely. Caught up with some people about half way, which was pleasant. And thank you for your observation and sentiment regarding “practical approach”. I am aware, and feel comfortable and reassured, that you and others are nearby with “Support”'s offered.
@TAB The rain has been good up here. Though I feel sorry for some of the people down South. Like some locations in the Eastern States, there has been a little too much rain, with crops flattened and road wash-aways.
Yes, I am generally East of Geraldton, in that semi-circle. I know the area out around Magnet, Cue and Meeka'. Used to work that area from Geraldton when I lived and worked there. Always thought that tours should be in two parts, the first at the end of summer, with the ochre-red dust, the second around this time through to October/November, during the green crops, wild vegetation and wildflowers.
Hi @greenpea . Today was a late morning after a late night/early morning. Still pretty cold, and wintry here, but during the sunny days it is lovely. Went for discussion with counsellor this morning. Am very pleased that we have “clicked”, with good rapport and working relationship. Otherwise it would mean a more regular trip to Geraldton. I am lucky and fortunate.
With Best Wishes to All
P.S. Recently, I found a new trick (at least, it is for me). When I'm writing a draft, in Apache OpenOffice (or Microsoft Word), I can “drag and drop” member's addresses (eg @HenryX) from the Forum page, reduced to about half size, on one side of the screen, to the draft, in Writer/Word on the other half of the screen. Makes it very easy to build a list of member addresses, such as at the top of this post. When my draft is completed, I then “copy and paste” from the Writer/Word document, into the newly opened “Reply” box of the post to which I am responding. All the member addresses transfer as if I had added or built the member addresses directly in the “Reply” box.
Also, avoids that “Authentication mismatched.......” notice that precedes the loss of a long and carefully scripted response. That is how I have written and transferred this message, in Writer/Word to the forum “Reply” box. All that is required, after the transfer of the response, is a quick proof-read and "POST" and then "POST" again. (after correcting all the imaginary errors that have been highlighted according to the message "Correct the highlighted errors and try again." above the 1st posted response).
Cheers, @HenryX
