Recently Diagnosed with Schitzophrenia

Hi, 

I have Autism level 1-2 and have recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I’ve recently come back home after a three weeks in an acute ward then a week in a step up/down facility then after coming home and not adjusting well due to side effects of the depo Albify injection spent another 3 days at the acute psychiatric ward. 

I have a support worker funded through NDIS which I am grateful for now. 

I am feeling lost.

Welcome for joininig us here and thank you for sharing. Must be hard going through all those, and now back to your home, but everything must feel different. Good to hear you have some support. 

It is normal to feel lost, your life probably won't be the same as before all these, but it doesn't mean it won't be good. So hanging in there and look after yourself. I hope you will be able to find some support in our community here. Let us know if there is anything we can help you with.
